Borrowing policy

The biomedical library has free access to all journals and books. Videos and DVD's can be consulted in the library, you can request them at the different information desks.

Only research personnel and clinical assistants of the hospital can borrow publications under very strict conditions. Audiovisual material can only be borrowed for educational purposes (max. 2 days) with consent of the chief librarian.

Reference books from the student library, dictionaries and reference manuals and theses can't be borrowed under any condition.

Renewal:before the due date, one can extend the lending period if the book hasn't been requested by someone else. Just login to LIBIS or by phone +32 16 34 6114 or 610
If the reader will be "out of office" for a while he's kindly asked to return his books before his absence, even before the end of the lending period.
