Collection

The collections of the Campus Library are meant for use in education, research and clinical practice. The library is developing towards a fully digital library which researchers and students can access through the internet (K.U.Leuvennet, kotnet, UZLeuven).

Distribution of the collections

The library covers a net area of 2311mē, distributed over 3 floors:

  • The 4th floor: The current and bounded journals, organized alphabetically by title. Attention: not all paper volumes are placed here because the library offers access to more than 4000 electronic journals and databases.
  • The 3rd floor: books and manuals, organized in numeric order, and a collection of 1200 videos and DVD's. A growing number of books can be accessed electronicly.(Choose Type: E-Books)
  • The 2nd floor consists of stacks with mainly less recent journals (before 1990) and books. This area is not accessible for public. Articles or books coming from the stacks can be ordered by simply filling in the request form.
