E-sources for FBIB


K.U.Leuven users have access to an extended set of databases, e-journals and e-books, via LIMO.
On this page you can find some links to selected databases, e-journals and e-books relevant to philosophy.

Databases

Bibliographical databases contain reference information for publications (books, book chapters and articles), regardless of where they are found. Some databases also offer full text versions of the articles.
This happens through Librilinks, which will take you to the full-text version, or to LIMO, which mentions the place where the printed version can be found.

After searching for a keyword, the results can be filtered by using the menu at the leftside of the screen.

  • Choose "Refine my results" > "Databases": this limits your results to databases.

E-Journals

To check whether the electronic version of a journal is available at the K.U.Leuven, you can search in LIMO. After searching for a keyword, the results can be filtered by using the menu at the leftside of the screen.

  • Choose "Refine my results" > "Journals": shows printed journals and online versions.
  • Choose "Limit my results" > "Print Copies": shows printed journals only.

Usually, electronic journals are available by subscription. Most of the time, one only has access to these journals through the intranet of the K.U.Leuven and only to those journals the K.U.Leuven is subscribed to.

E-Books

The collection e-books is available via LIMO.

 

Tips
Staff members and students can have access to the e-sources at home with an external internet connection (not Kotnet) via Proxy server.
