E-sources introductory sessions

Finding your way through the more than 600 databases and approximately 20,000 e-journals gathered in the University Library can seem a daunting task. To help you on your way with your research, the University Library Services organize introductory sessions into the library's e-resources.

These sessions are organized per faculty (or group of faculties) and try to answer the following questions:

  1. How can I look up e-resources in the LibisNet-catalogue?
  2. How can I look up and query e-resources with LibriSource+, and how does the portal allow me to manage my search results?
  3. How does LibriLinks help me to access the full text of electronic articles easily?
  4. Which new e-resources are relevant to my research field?
  5. How can I create an account with EndNote Web for free? How does it allow me to manage my references and build my bibliography?
  6. Sneak preview: LIMO beta release.
These sessions are for both academic and library staff and doctoral students. Whether or not the latter can valorise these sessions within the framework of their doctoral training, is arranged differently in the three Doctoral Schools. Doctoral students are best advised to make inquiries with the contacts responsible for their discipline; at the end of the session, or afterwards, they can receive a certificate.
