The catalogue room is in front of the entrance of the main reading room, first floor.
In this heart of the Central Library several multifunctional PC's offer access to the LIBIS-catalogue, to the Cd-rom's and databases of the network, to the external catalogues via Internet.
On the other hand you can also consult the old card catalogue, which was discontinued on December 31, 1970, when the unitarian University Library was split up. This card catalogue is nevertheless an invaluable tool when checking the book holdings before this date. The conversion indeed of this card catalogue into LIBIS is still in progress.
On the 'duplex-floor' finally are shelved the paper editions of (older) journal-indices (Citation index, IBZ ..) . (It concerns the UDC 014.3 - section, actually an extension of the room of bibliographies).
