Introductiesessies voor e-bronnen / E-sources introduction
sessions
Om enigszins wegwijs
te worden in de ruim 300 databanken en 16000 e-tijdschriften
die de universiteitsbibliotheek
momenteel bezit, bieden wij initiatiesessies aan. |
 De
sessies worden per faculteit (of groep faculteiten) georganiseerd en zijn als volgt
gestructureerd:
1. Wat is LibriSource Plus?
2. Wat is LibriLinks?
3. Waar vind ik de databanken en hoe selecteer ik de juiste databank voor
mijn onderzoek?
4. Inleiding tot en beschrijving van een aantal algemene, multidisciplinaire
databanken zoals PIO, PICA, Academic Search.
5. Hoe gebruik ik Web of Science?
6. Elektronische full text tijdschriften K.U.Leuven: wat zijn ze, hoe te
vinden en te gebruiken?

Deze
sessies zijn bedoeld voor doctoraatsstudenten, academisch personeel
en bibliotheekpersoneel. Doctorandi kunnen
deze sessies valoriseren in het kader van de doctoraatsopleiding (zie lijst erkende seminaries, cursussen, vakken). |

Sometimes it’s
not easy to find your way within the 300 databases and 16000
e-journals owned by the university library. To help you with
this task, the
library organises introduction sessions to the databases.

These
sessions are organised per faculty (or group of faculties) and will give you an overview
of the following:
1. What is LibriSource Plus?
2. What is LibriLinks?
3. Where can I find the databases and how do I select the
correct one?
4. Presentation of some major databases p.ex.: PIO, PICA, Academic
Search
5. How to use the Web of Science?
6. Electronic full text journals K.U.Leuven: what are they, where
can I find them and how to use them?

The
sessions are for doctoral students, academic personnel and
library staff. Doctoral students can valorise these sessions. |
