We recommend researchers to look for working papers in the following online sources. Most of them are described in the e-sources (LibrisourcePlus):
- LIRIAS contains all K.U.Leuven publications, working papers of FEB included.
- IDEAS is
the largest database for economics on the internet.
Research Papers in Economics (www.repec.org) is a part of it. - Economistsonline is a European cooperation of several economic universities and institutions. It contains 900.000 references, many with fulltext.
- NBER (National Bureau of Economic Research) contains the most important USA working papers.
- SSRN (Social Science Research Network) is another important place for economic working papers. You can find the papers of The World Bank on SSRN and the papers of FEB.
- EconBiz is not only a search portal for German working papers but is also a metasearch engine for e.g. Repec .
- CogPrints is an digital archive for papers in psychology, computer sciences, anthropology.
- EconWPA (Working Papers archive of the Economics Department of Washington University) contains working papers classified by JEL-codes.
- S-WOPEC Scandinavian Working Papers in Economics is the best way to scan the Scandinavian research.
- Working Papers im Volltext Universität Wien offers links to international working papers next to Austrian papers.
- CiteSeerX is a valuable website on papers in computer and information science.
- CEPR is the leading European research network in economics
- Google Scholar is the search engine of Google developed for researchers. It's a good starting point for searches.

All the working papers of EBIB are now at the basement floor (level 91, follow signs). Only VLGMS working papers are in open stack in the VLGMS collection on the ground floor.
