Theses and dissertations:
We use thesis for the licentiate thesis and dissertation for the (post) graduate master (PhD) thesis. FEB Theses and dissertations:
  • Theses can not be borrowed. Theses have relator code F in the shelf mark (e.g. 339.7 F ROGG 1990)
  • The PhD theses are integrated in the collection of monographies (relator code G in the shelf mark) on level 00. This dissertations can be borrowed.

UMI ProQuest Digital Dissertations (PQDD):
is the database of Dissertation Abstracts International from 1861 on, to those accepted as recently as last semester. The full text of more than one million these titles is available in paper and microform formats. From 1997 forward dissertations in digital format are accessable for institutional subcsribers (K.U. Other sources In general most university library catalogues include theses and dissertations, often university websites list their dissertations.
