Rafaël Verwilghen archives (ca. 1900-1963)

The Verwilghen archives primarily concern the activities from Rafaël  Verwilghen as administrator (Bouwdienst Dienst der Verwoeste Gewesten) and as lecturer at the Hoger Instituut voor Sierkunsten van Ter Kameren. The archives also reveal his practice as a professional architect and urban developer, and his engagement to several architectural organizations and journals.

The archives contain quite a lot of information about the preparation of the post-World War One reconstruction.
