Maps

The collection (WKRT) holds about 20 000 maps covering all continents. The collection from Belgium contains topographical maps of different scales and periods, together with the most recent geological maps and the soil maps of scale 1:20 000.

The most commonly used maps (geology of Flanders and Wallonia, soil maps of Belgium, ...) can be found in the seminar room Mercator (you can find it on the floor plan). You can search the shelves for your maps yourselves, but putting them back should be left to the staff.  

Another, much bigger, part of the collection is located in a closed room, and must be requested online using LIMO (see request maps in the section 'access / use').
