Learning centre, PC-room and cafeteria

Learning Centre 

Learning centre CBA is the place for teamwork.

These areas are meant for teamwork, you can talk to each other in a 'normal tone'.

Our learning centre extends over the 3 floors of the library.

Follow this link to find the areas suited for teamwork.

On the groundfloor as well as on the first floor, you can find an open space for teamwork, with mobile tables, chairs and acoustic panels with whiteboards. On  these whiteboards, you may ONLY write with SPECIAL WHITEBOARD PENS that you can get at the main desk, in exchange for your student card.

On the lowest floor, you will find a few small, closed carrels (closed teamwork areas). Carrel 1 and 3 are open to the public. Carrel 2 can be reserved with  ria.vanhove@bib.kuleuven.be.

All other rooms in the library are reserved for individual study.

During study and examination time, the whole library has to be a silent place!

PC-room

Our PC-room has got 36 PCs.

Attention: This room is occasionaly used for courses.

Cafeteria

Eating and drinking in the library is not allowed (except for water in a lockable bottle).

You can therefore use our cafeteria, with its vending machines containing sandwiches, drinks or coffee. This is also the place to be for your mobile conversations or for letting off steam during examination time.
