Guided tours

Groups can request a guided tour. The request should be delivered, either at the Central Library (Erna Mannaerts), either at the Leuven Tourist Office, depending on the origin, composition and specific needs of the group.

Guided tours are only possible during the opening hours of the Central Library. Unannounced groups reporting itself at the reception of the Central Library will be refused to enter.

The Central Library organizes guided tours for following categories of visitors:

  • students
  • staff and alumni of K.U.Leuven
  • visitors and conference participants of K.U.Leuven
  • senior pupils

The Koninklijke Leuvense Gidsenbond (official Royal Leuven Guides Club) will carry out guided tours for all other categories of visitors. In short, all groups without a connection to K.U.Leuven:

  • domestic and foreign tourists
  • all the other organisations
