Archives and Museum of the Flemish Student Life (AMVS)

The Museum of Flemish Student Life shows different kinds of souvenirs and memorabilia of student life in Leuven in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. This unique collection was gathered by Mon de Goeyse and consists of: - Archives of many student associations, especially from Leuven (Met Tijd en Vlijt, Algemeen Katholiek Vlaams Studentenverbond, Katholiek Vlaams Hoogstudentenverbond, Algemene Studentenraad). - A collection of photographs, drawings and posters - A library with a rich ensemble of student newspapers, books, leaflets, and pamphlets - A museum collection with flags of student associations, objects from the club life, memories of the dutchification, and souvenirs of well-known student leaders such as Albrecht Rodenbach and Jef van den Eynde.
